Our most common repairs
Most requests involve similar problems: a dripping faucet, a toilet that runs constantly, a drain that empties more slowly over time. These issues may seem minor, but if they are not corrected they waste water and can damage floors.
We repair or replace faucets, valves, fittings and sections of pipe. We also service water heaters, whether a unit needs replacing or we need to find out why the hot water runs out sooner than before. When the same drain keeps backing up, a camera inspection lets us see what is happening inside the line rather than clearing it without knowing the cause.
Year-round homes and cottages: different needs
In the region, many properties rely on a well and a septic tank, which affects how we diagnose problems. Low pressure, for instance, often comes from the pump or the pressure tank rather than the pipes inside. In that case, our wells and pumps service takes over.
Cottages have their own challenges: pipes that freeze while the property is unoccupied, or a cracked fitting discovered at the spring opening. We recommend preparing the cottage in the fall, with heat cable where needed, to avoid an emergency call in mid-winter.
Bathrooms and renovations
A bathroom renovation starts with the plumbing. We relocate drains and supply lines, install the shower, tub, vanity and toilet, and complete all the connections.
To choose your fixtures, you are welcome to visit our store at 77 rue Principale. It has a bathroom and faucet showroom, as well as an inventory of parts. Seeing the products in person makes the choice easier. If the project extends beyond the bathroom, we also handle complete renovations as a general contractor.
How it works
When you call, describe what you are seeing. We can often tell you right away which valve to shut while you wait. We then come on site, identify the cause and explain the proposed solution before starting any work.
We are CMMTQ members and hold RBQ licence 1842-2873-08, which can be verified in the Régie du bâtiment du Québec registry. For flooding or a loss of water outside opening hours, see our 24/7 emergency plumbing page. For all other requests, please use our contact page.
