Our goal
We aim for level AA of WCAG 2.2. The site has not been externally audited and holds no certification; it was designed and checked page by page.
- Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible outline on the active element.
- Text colours have a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1.
- Photos have descriptions. Decorative icons are skipped by screen readers.
- Buttons and links have a touch area of at least 44 pixels.
- Content stays readable at 320 pixels wide and with text enlarged to 200%, with no sideways scrolling.
- Animations stop if your device asks for reduced motion.
The “Display” button
At the top of every page, the Display button opens a settings panel: text size, light or dark mode, high contrast, an easy-to-read font (Atkinson Hyperlegible), more line spacing, underlined links, stopped animations, a reading guide, a big cursor and hidden images (their description stays on screen).
Your choices stay in your browser. Nothing is sent and no cookie is created.
Your device’s own tools
The site also works with your phone or computer settings: zoom, text size, dark mode, screen readers (VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA).
What isn’t perfect
- The Google map, when you choose to show it, comes from Google. Its accessibility isn’t in our hands. The address and the directions link are always shown as text next to it.
- Job-site photos have short descriptions. If one is missing something, tell us.
Tell us about a problem
